ICOM’s IC-7300 Now Available For Purchase!

ICOM IC-7300 HF Plus 50 MHz Transceivers IC-7300

The long-anticipated ICOM IC-7300 finally made its debut!

The IC-7300 has been discussed around the mill for several months, and ICOM released a video in December of a functioning model in Japan.

Like all transceivers, the IC-7300 had to wait for FCC type acceptance in the United States. But that came last week, and ICOM officially announced the IC-7300 yesterday.

DX Engineering has taken reservations for the transceiver for several weeks but, starting today, the ICOM 7300 HF Plus 50 MHz Transceiver is available for purchase at DX Engineering. Delivery is expected by the end of March – that means you can have your IC-7300 before Dayton Hamvention!

The IC-7300 is unique in that it employs a sophisticated new 4.3-inch touch screen, which will make it easier for users to change the operating frequency and accurately tune to the desired signal, increasing QSO opportunities.

Other features include:

– Supplied HM-219 hand microphone
– Large, effective cooling fan system
– Multi-function meter
– 101 memory channels (99 regular, plus 2 scan edges)
– Optional RS-BA1 IP remote control software (the spectrum scope with the waterfall can be observed)
– CW functions: Full break-in, CW reverse, CW auto tuning
